About us

selectability is a not-for-profit charity dedicated to improving the lives of regional Queenslanders. We believe that everyone has a right to high-quality support at every stage of their life and are committed to providing exceptional services to communities across our large and diverse footprint.

We are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of our consumers and work to deliver best practice support and services. We believe in fostering a compassionate and inclusive environment where our consumers feel valued, respected and empowered. Our team is driven by the desire to improve the quality of life for the consumers, promoting independence and maintaining their dignity while respecting their cultural background.

selectability provides and coordinate NDIS supports, aged care services, clinical services, Child Safety and deliver government funded mental wellbeing, carer and youth support programs.

We are one of the largest providers of mental health services across our diverse footprint – extending from Mornington Island, Cairns to Rockhampton and Palm Island to Mount Isa … and growing. Our 2023 employee survey indicated that 79% of employees rate selectability as a truly great place to work.

Our focus is always the individual and their goals and aspirations.

In early 2023 selectability extended its pre-existing support for children in the child protection system who need residential care. As a result of the growing demand for child safety services across the state, selectability has made the decision to extend this service delivery model to accommodate more young Queenslanders in need of support.
