About the role

selectability has an exciting opportunity for an Administration Officer - RTO to join the team. This position is responsible for maintaining and researching continuous improvement and business development opportunities for selectability’s Registered Training Organisation; selectability Training (0281).

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • work with the team in driving compliance with regulatory requirements, standards, codes and funding contracts
  • monitor data entry and documentation in our Student and Learning Management Systems
  • be an active participant in internal/external audits
  • support the coordination of RTO administrative tasks
  • assist in the safeguard of data integrity, ensuring meticulous management of RTO - related data
  • support close collaboration to streamline student registration processes
  • prepare and submit regulatory reports
  • manage adjustments related to QLD funding
  • manage invoicing and financial duties
  • coordinate with Trainers and Assessors, as well as Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) instructors for scheduling courses, ranging from nationally accredited qualifications to non-accredited short courses
  • build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • address and adeptly resolve any concerns or issues from employers/students
  • compliance systems management

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • experience in VET and utilising Student and Learning management systems (Powerpro and Moodle) (desirable)
  • experience in the mental health industry (highly desirable)
  • understanding of ASQA, VET Quality Framework and the standards for RTOs 2015 (desirable)
  • understanding of the requirements for state funding programs such as Skilled Assured (QLD) (desirable)
  • administrative experience, including familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Suite
  • attention to detail, superior communication skills, capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • a strong commitment to upholding compliance standards, both regulatory and contractual
  • highly developed person-centered communication skills
  • a demonstrated ability to prioritise conflicting priorities as required
  • ability to work under minimal supervision with the capacity to exercise initiative in the application of work processes and procedures and establish objectives and outcomes
  • a proven ability to think critically and approach challenges with innovation

Role requirements

  • a Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module "Quality, Safety & You" completion certificate
  • a current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland drivers licence

The administration officer - RTO is a permanent part time fixed term position until 30 June 2026 based in Townsville.
