About the role

selectability is seeking compassionate, dedicated, and flexible Casual Aged Care Workers to join our growing FIFO workforce in Lower Gulf, North Queensland.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a casual talent pool supporting older and vulnerable persons living in remote communities. As an Aged Care Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering quality, person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity, wellbeing, and meaningful connections.

Working collaboratively with the Regional Manager, Registered Nurse, and wider healthcare team, you will provide responsive and compassionate support tailored to the individual needs of our older and vulnerable persons.

Role requirements

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Home & Community Care, Aged Care, or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in aged care, disability, community services, or a related field (desirable)
  • Experience working in regional or remote communities (desirable)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain)
  • Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module "Quality, Safety and You"
  • Current Queensland Driver Licence (minimum P1, C Class)
  • Current nationally recognised First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current influenza vaccination (recommended)
  • Ability to participate in FIFO roster arrangements
