About the role

selectability is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented administration officer to support our safety initiatives. This role ensures the smooth operation of our administrative functions and compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • entering data with precision and maintaining accurate records
  • efficiently utilise computer software programs to enhance daily operations
  • performing comprehensive administrative tasks to support office functions
  • collaborating with the safety team to ensure adherence to safety regulations
  • coordinating and scheduling safety sessions and meetings
  • managing and maintaining safety related documentation and records
  • providing administrative support for safety audits and inspections
  • creating advanced reports, pivot tables in Microsoft excel to analyse data effectively

About you

To be considered for this rewarding role you will be:

  • proficient in Microsoft office particularly excel and the use databases
  • highly developed person-centred communication skills
  • excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including presentation skills
  • highly developed analytical, problem solving, and numerical skills including the ability to compile, analyse data and prepare reports
  • a demonstrated high level of attention to detail with a consistent approach
  • a demonstrated ability to prioritise conflicting priorities as required
  • high level organisational, administrative and project management skills

Role Requirements

  • previous experience in an administrative role (highly desirable)
  • previous experience working with safety management systems (desirable)
  • a Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain prior to commencing)
  • a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability or obtain prior to commencement)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module "Quality, Safety & You" completion certificate (or the ability or obtain prior to commencement)

The administration officer- safety is a permanent full time position based in Townsville.
