Are you passionate about providing a supportive and nurturing environment for young people? selectability is seeking a dedicated House Leader to join our Child & Family Care team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the well-being and development of young people within our care. You will oversee day-to-day operations, mentor youth workers, and collaborate with the Child and Family Care central team to provide the highest standard of care.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Reporting: prepare and submit reports on each young person within the home on a fortnightly basis
Leadership: support, buddy, and mentor youth workers to enhance their skills and effectiveness
Intake Enquiries: respond to intake enquiries in partnership with the Child and Family Care central team
Care Plans: develop and maintain individualised care plans for each young person
Crisis Support Plans: inform the development of Individual Crisis Support Plans in consultation with the therapeutic advisor
Daily Operations: manage routines, shopping, property damage claim forms, contingency claims, and house quality checks
Rostering: organise and manage the rostering for the home
Program Compliance: maintain compliance with program requirements including case notes, emails, and contact records. Oversee additional programs such as supervised contact and respite
