About the role

selectability is looking for passionate motivated team leader- clubhouse to join the team! As team leader - clubhouse, you will oversee the delivery of programs and services supporting the mental wellbeing of our recipients. You will utilise your knowledge and experience to mentor your team, ensuring excellence in customer service and further growing our business.

This is a varied role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • participating in the intake process for new recipients
  • improving access to support services, mental health outcomes and equality in service availability for the individuals and groups across our footprint
  • conducting community engagement
  • facilitating group activities
  • facilitating community education
  • overseeing the delivery of programs and services including documentation of daily activity statistics and reporting in line with
    work with other selectability services to support recipients as required
  • mentoring or coaching employees in best practice
  • ensuring compliance with relative industry standards

About you

To be successful you must: 

  • relevant qualifications in Mental Health (Minimum Cert IV Mental Health, community services or other related field)
  • experience leading teams, programs and services in mental health, disability or community services
  • an in-depth knowledge of the NDIS guidelines and processes
  • strong computer skills with the ability to complete required reporting 
  • experience working in a team environment
  • proficient in Microsoft office suites of programs, including outlook, word, excel and teams and other databases
  • a positive attitude and is committed to best practice
  • be able to work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and individuals

Role requirements

  • ability to travel to Sarina minimum 1 day per week
  • a current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland drivers licence 
  • a currently registered, roadworthy, and fully comprehensive vehicle 
  • current nationally recognised first aid and CPR certificates (or the ability to obtain)
  • a Child Safety & Personal History Screening check
  • a Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You'

The team leader - clubhouse is a Fulltime position based in Mackay and Sarina.
