About the role

As the Workforce Capability Partner, you will play a key role in developing a skilled, capable and confident workforce through the delivery of high-quality learning and development initiatives across the organisation. Working closely with leaders and employees, you will facilitate engaging training programs, support workforce capability development and promote best-practice approaches that enhance service quality and employee performance. This role combines training delivery, stakeholder collaboration and continuous improvement to help foster a culture of learning, accountability and professional growth, while ensuring employees are equipped to meet organisational, legislative and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Delivering engaging onboarding, induction and role-specific training programs that equip employees with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles
  • Facilitating mandatory and compliance-based training, competency assessments and learning activities that support safe, high-quality service delivery
  • Designing, developing and continuously improving learning resources, training materials and workforce development initiatives aligned with organisational priorities
  • Partnering with leaders and teams to identify capability needs and implement practical learning solutions that enhance performance and professional growth
  • Promoting best-practice approaches, organisational standards and continuous learning across frontline and corporate service areas
  • Monitoring training effectiveness, gathering feedback and implementing improvements to enhance learner engagement and workforce capability outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate training records, learning system data and compliance reporting to support workforce planning and organisational requirements
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver impactful learning experiences and foster a culture of accountability, development and continuous improvement

About you

To be considered for this rewarding role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering and assessing adult learning programs
  • Experience facilitating face-to-face training across diverse workforce groups
  • Strong facilitation, presentation and communication skills
  • Experience developing and reviewing learning resources and training materials
  • Demonstrated ability to assess competency and provide coaching and feedback
  • Understanding of workforce capability development and adult learning principles
  • Ability to build productive relationships with operational leaders and stakeholders
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly across service locations
  • Experience within disability, mental health, community services, aged care, health or human services sectors (desirable)
  • Experience delivering Medication Management training (desirable)
  • Experience delivering MAYBO or equivalent de-escalation training (desirable)
  • Experience delivering Wellness Star/Triangle training (desirable)
  • Experience delivering Emergency Management, Incident Management or compliance-based training (desirable)
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems (desirable)
  • Knowledge of NDIS, safeguarding, quality and compliance frameworks (desirable)

Role requirements

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122/TAE40116 or equivalent)
  • Travel to selectability sites will be required from time to time
  • Current open/P1 “C” Class Queensland driver’s licence
  • Child Safety & Personal History Screening check
  • Positive notice working with children (blue card)
  • NDIS workers screening Clearance
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module “Quality, Safety & You” completion certificate
