Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Inspire and educate: deliver high-quality training sessions to diverse groups, helping learners achieve their goals

Assess competence: evaluate learner performance through practical and theoretical assessments

Foster growth: provide constructive feedback and support to encourage continuous learning and development

Provide support: offer tutorial support to students by appointment via video conference or telephone

Present masterclasses: present topics to students in weekly online masterclasses

About you

• highly developed person-centred communication skills
• excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including presentation skills
• a demonstrated high level of attention to detail with a consistent approach
• a demonstrated ability to prioritise conflicting priorities as required
• ability to work under minimal supervision with the capacity to exercise initiative in the application of work processes and procedures and establish objectives and outcomes
• positive, can-do attitude

Role Requirements

To be considered for this rewarding role you will hold the following:

Mandatory:

• TAE40122 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; OR 
• TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; OR 
• TAE40110 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (plus either TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A, and either TAEASS502 or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B)
• CHC40321 - Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention

Highly desirable:

• CHC33021 - Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability)
• CHC32015 - Cert III in Community Services
• CHC43515 - Cert IV in Mental Health Peer Work
• CHC43315 - Cert IV in Mental Health
• CHC53315 - Diploma of Mental Health
• CHC52021 - Diploma of Community Services (Case Management)
• qualified to deliver Mental Health First Aid

You will also need:

• a Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain prior to commencing)
• a current yellow card exemption or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability or obtain prior to commencement)
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module "Quality, Safety & You" completion certificate (or the ability or obtain prior to commencement)
• a current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland drivers licence
• roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance 

About the offer

The trainer & assessor role is a casual position.
