selectability is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader - Child & Family Care to join our team.
Team Leaders play a vital role in leading a team that supports children and young people to live their best life. Team leaders have a passion for working with young people and provide guidance and support to a team of youth workers. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with the relevant Child & Family Care legislation and regulation, as well as organisational policy and procedures. You will build and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, families, and young people.
Team leaders oversee house operations with a strengths-based, person-centred approach while also maintaining a strong outcomes focus.

This role works directly with young people and requires the employee to actively demonstrate child safe, trauma-informed and culturally safe practice through daily interactions, decision-making, supervision, and documentation.
The successful applicant must demonstrate a commitment to child safe values and immediately report any concerns regarding harm, unsafe practice, abuse, and neglect.
